Qualitative interview analysis for Arabic, Darija and French research.
Hiribwg Interview Analyzer helps social science researchers turn hours of interview transcripts into organized themes, key quotes and clear summaries, while the researcher stays in charge of the interpretation.
Request early accessThe problem
Researchers in Morocco and North Africa often work with interviews that mix Modern Standard Arabic, Moroccan Darija and French. Most qualitative analysis tools are built for English and handle this multilingual material poorly, so coding and theme-building is done slowly, by hand.
How it works
The tool uses Claude, a large language model by Anthropic, to assist with the most time-consuming steps of qualitative analysis.
Upload transcripts
Add interview transcripts in Arabic, Darija, French or a mix of the three.
Extract themes
The tool proposes recurring themes and groups relevant passages under each one.
Find key quotes
Representative quotes are highlighted and linked back to their exact place in the transcript.
Review and refine
The researcher accepts, edits or rejects every suggestion. The analysis remains theirs.
Who it’s for
- PhD and master’s students in sociology, anthropology and related fields.
- University researchers running fieldwork with interviews and focus groups.
- NGOs and research centers studying social and urban issues in the region.
Principles
- Researcher in control: suggestions are a starting point, never a final analysis.
- Traceable: every theme and quote points back to the original text.
- Respect for participants: designed for anonymized transcripts and ethical research practice.
